Brandis releases terms of reference for national opera review

‘It’s not overly melodramatic to say we’re fighting for the survival of opera in Australia,' says OperaQ's Lindy Hume.

As previously reported by ArtsHub, Senator George Brandis, the Minister for the Arts, ordered a review of the activities of Opera Australia, Opera Queensland, State Opera South Australia, and West Australian Opera, in order to determine whether the $32 million funding they collectively receive is being well spent.
