Burnie celebrates International Jazz Day

Art meets jazz at the Burnie Regional Art Gallery with performances by a visiting US vocalist and a Hobart trumpeter.

Tasmanians living on the north-west coast can celebrate the third annual International Jazz Day at Burnie Regional Art Gallery, which is hosting a special performance to mark the occasion this Wednesday 30 June.

‘Many people are not aware that there is such a thing as the International Jazz Day because it is a relatively new phenomenon,’ said Gallery Co-ordinator, Randolph Wylie.
