The Greens have called for another $10 million in annual funding for the Arts, this time directed to Regional Australia.
The Regional Arts policy is on top of the annual $10 million arts funding boost the Greens announced in January, which included a $3 million Artists’ Fund; a $5 million research and development grants program and a $2 million touring program.
Greens Leader Christine Milne said Labor’s recent National Cultural Policy Creative Australia contained increased funding in ‘ just about all areas except regional arts’.
