Based on the success of SCAPE 6 (2010-2011), New Zealand-born Blair French again takes the reigns as curatorial convener for the festival’s seventh edition opening next week in Christchurch.

Former Executive director of Sydney’s Artspace, and recently appointed Assistant Director of Curatorial and Digital at the Museum of Contemporary Art, French is no stranger to big projects with big vision. Exactly what Christchurch needs as it moves beyond the wake of earthquake blues.
