Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA) opens its doors on Friday 25 February after a significant closure, a major rebrand, and a $36.5 million spend. Upon opening, it will be the largest art gallery in regional Queensland.

ArtsHub caught up with newly appointed RMOA Director, Jonathan McBurnie, who said: ‘The region has been doing well in past years, that is how it managed to leverage to get the new gallery built… It made sense to take it to the next level.’
