The winners of the 2013 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards were announced at the State Library of NSW over the weekend, with a prize pool of $305,000 offered across the 12 prizes.
One of the big winners of the night is no stranger to accolades. Hot on the heels of taking out the inaugural Stella Prize, Carrie Tiffany’s Mateship with Birds has been honoured once more, taking out the $40,000 Christina Stead Prize for fiction.
