Tourism and Major Events Minister Louise Asher has announced the Coalition Government’s intention to provide a helping hand to the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz. The festival, now in its 23rd year, will receive $30,000 from the Victorian Coalition Government through Tourism Victoria’s Events program.

It is expected that the money will go towards funding a large marketing campaign for the festival, which will include placing advertisements in jazz magazines, radio and print, as well as funding a website upgrade and a targeted public relations campaign.
