Country Arts WA is celebrating after the state budget announcement of $24 million over three years.

The allocation is a triumph for arts lobbying. WA’s National Party had committed i to increasing arts spending in response to Country Arts WA’s successful Vote Arts campaign in the lead-up to the state election. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of the arts in regional areas and to encourage policy makers to commit to supporting regional arts in the state.
