The Torch appoints Kent Morris

The Torch has announced Kent Morris as its new Statewide Indigenous Arts Officer, who will work towards using art to help reduce the overrepresentation of Indigenous people in Victorian correctional facilities.

A descendant of the Barkindji people, Kent has worked in the Indigenous cultural sector for years as a practicing artist and will bring his extensive knowledge of both the visual arts and music industries to the position.
