The Federal Government’s Regional Arts Fund (RAF), administered in Victoria by Regional Arts Victoria (RAV), is now open for applications. In 2012 more than $230,000 in funding was allocated to projects in rural and regional communities across Victoria. Applications for Round One in 2013 close on  March 12.

RAV Director Esther Anatolitis said, “We were thrilled to see such an exciting variety of projects and events supported through the Regional Arts Fund last year and can’t wait to see what this year has in store. Creative practices are essential catalysts for innovation, cultural development and community life in our regions. We are proud to partner with the Australian Government on this vital program inspiring the arts across the state.”
