The Gambia needs a film industry, says Jabbe

Gambian actress Fatima Jabbe, along with other stars of the Gambian film Mirror Boy have called on the government to produce films locally, saying a film industry in the West African nation would bolster employment in a range of professions.

allAfrica reports that the actress made the remarks during a visit to the Vice President and Minister of Women’s Affiars, Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy at her office at State House.
