The Seed Fund, a philanthropic organisation that supports emerging art workers, artists and musicians, has released details on two extra grant categories, on their new website (www.theseedfund.org), which was created to support their Management Workshop committee.

This brings the total grant categories from The Seed Fund to four. The first grant category, Art on the Street, partners with Next Wave Festival and provides grants of up to $5000 for Australian Visual Artists over the age of 18. Artworks would take place in a public sphere, and should suggest forms of social communication between the artist and the public. It also requires artists to respond to the 2014 Next Wave festival theme, New Grand Narrative.
