The Queensland Art Gallery Foundation is launching an initiative to complete the gallery’s holding of German artist Albrecht Dürer’s The Apocalypse (1496-98).

The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) currently holds 11 wood cut prints of the 16 which comprise The Apocalypse. The QAG Foundation is hoping to raise funds to purchase the remaining five episodes; a feat which would significantly enrich the QAGOMA collection.
