Kris Stewart has been appointed the new Artistic Director (AD) of Brisbane Powerhouse. Stewart takes over from chief executive-artistic director Andrew Ross, who left Powerhouse late last year.
Kris Stewart was the founding director of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), the world’s largest annual musical theatre event, and the inaugural Artistic Director of The Sydney Fringe. Currently, he is the AD of the Festival of Voices, Tasmania’s largest winter cultural event.
