Artistic Director’s decision not to renew her contract for 2015 comes as a surprise to Festival Board and Executive.

Despite a successful 2013 festival program, which included three strong new initiatives and large audiences across the state, Artistic Director Jo Duffy has decided not to renew her contract with Tasmania’s biennial Ten Days on the Island for 2015.

The festival’s Executive Director and Producer, Marcus Barker, said Duffy’s decision had ‘absolutely’ come as a surprise.
