Jane Smith has been chosen to bring the dynamic model and aims of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka to regional and national significance, as its inaugural Director. She is entrusted with the task of making this new education and cultural tourism centre into an institution which will reframe what democracy means.
‘I’m delighted and honoured to be part of M.A.D.E. M.A.D.E is about enabling people to think about the aspects of democracy in their everyday lives and how that impacts on their quality of life and that of their friends, families and communities,’ Smith says.
