Image of underage girl sparks controversy

BALLARAT FOTO BIENNALE: The photography world has once again found itself in hot water after an image of an underage girl was pulled from the Ballarat International Foto Biennale.

An image of a semi-naked underage girl by photographer Jan Saudek, has been pulled from the Ballarat International Foto Biennale immediately before the event was due to open on Saturday.

The Biennale was forced to withdraw the image, Black Sheep White Crow after pressure from sponsor Tourism Victoria due to a complaint from an Office of Child Safety Commissioner.
