A cartoon depicting Shane Warne as Lord Ganesh has sparked outcry from members of the Hindu community who believe it is a trivialisation of their sacred deity.
Published in Fairfax Media on 3 March, the cartoon by Jim Pavlidis is part of a regular Sunday Fairfax page, which pokes fun at key figures and events.
