Guest, an Adelaide based furniture designer and maker, won the award for his AR BALLAST Hall Table (pictured above). His win netted him $1,000.
‘As an emerging designer Daniel has shown consummate skill and confidence… The table articulates the delicate junctions and connections providing an exquisite balance between the fine detail and robust but simple gesture,’ said judges Joe Pascoe (former CEO and Artistic Director of Craft Victoria) and Mike Verdouw (architect).
