Finalists selected for Australia’s richest Indigenous art prize

Sixteen finalists have been selected for the Western Australia Indigenous Art Awards, the richest Indigenous arts prize in the country.

In acknowledgement of the significant contribution that Indigenous artists make to the contemporary Australian art landscape, the Western Australia Indigenous Arts Awards has announced its 16 finalists.

The finalists are now in contention for the richest Indigenous arts prize in the country, with the total prize pool of the awards valued at $65,000 comprising a group exhibition of outstanding art and three non-acquisitive awards.
