In a quick-fire response to the current climate of tension in the media in the United Kingdom, the National Theatre of Scotland and London Review of Books have created ‘Enquirer,’ a play that addresses and investigates the issues of British journalism.
Edited and directed by Vicky Featherstone and John Tiffany, artistic and associate directors of the National Theatre of Scotland, ‘Enquirer’ is based on interviews conducted with leading figures in the newspapers industry in the UK. A script focused from these interviews around the phone hacking scandals of the last 18 months and the Leveson inquiry.
