Emerging Writers’ Festival Program

EWF is offering more quirks, parties and late night activity as it announces its 2014 program.

Sam Twyford-Moore is still tired. When we spoke to the Director of the Emerging Writers’ Festival last year, on the eve of his inaugural festival, he was burrowing sleep from his eyes. This year is no different. In 2013, the 28-year-old had been up all night completing the EWF’s application for triennial funding. But this year he admits it was just a big night.

With the festival running 27 May – 6 June, we’re just under a month away, and if Twyford-Moore has his way, we’ll all be bleary-eyed by the end of it. ‘It’s a big fun playground,’ he explains. ‘There’s a lot of quirkiness, a lot more late night stuff and a lot more parties.’
