Held for the first time since October 2011 when it was part of the Commonwealth Festival that was staged alongside the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Perth, Revealed is the Aboriginal artists’ showcase that combines an exhibition, marketplace, symposium and professional development program for emerging Aboriginal artists and art centres.

Revealed artists are new and emerging, that is, they can be any age, but they have not yet had a solo show, nor have they won a major award or are represented by a commercial gallery. The artists work independently or in association with one of the 23 art centres from many language groups that come to Perth this year. Revealed gives the artists the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, the general public and one another.
