Darwin’s diversity takes centre-stage

Darwin: frontier capital of the Top End, home to hard-drinking locals with a tendency to go troppo, and to a transient population  who are fond of crocodile-related headlines. These shallow stereotypes and more will be explored and exploded in a new production set to premiere at this year’s Darwin Festival.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
