With literary festival season beginning nationwide, the inaugural Glen Eira Storytelling Festival is a local council initiative that encourages budding writers and storytellers to hone their skills through a series of workshops and talks.
The new annual event will be held from 11-26 August 2011, fostering the idea that there’s more than one way to tell a story by examining writing, film, visual art, music and performance, and the people who partake in these forms.
