Comedian Nik Coppin called ‘racist’ by radio host

During his appearance on ABC Radio, British Caribbean comedian Nik Coppin was accused of being racist by the radio program’s host, Peter Goers.

Mr. Coppin was discussing his reasons for choosing to support the Essendon Football Club and went on to say that it was because the team was once called ‘The Blood-Stained Niggers’ but now have more Aboriginal players than the other AFL teams.
