While some may fear that traditional artforms are being drowned out by the bravado of new ways of creating, event announcements this week show they are still holding their own among the crowd.

First off the bat is the ‘world’s greatest orchestra’, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, is bringing its 120-piece outfit to Australian shores as part of its 125th anniversary.
