For the last three weeks Perth has showcased some of the world’s best artists and acts in music, theatre, art, dance and film at the 2013 Perth International Arts Festival.
By all accounts, this year’s festival has been a huge success, with more than 750 artists presenting works in the festival, half a million people engaging in festival events, and over 190,000 tickets sold. Although thrilled with the numbers, Artistic Director Jonathan Holloway has said, ‘more important to us has been the quality of response to the 2013 program and the journeys people have taken through the festival.’
