Throughout 2013, Ground Floor at Object: Australian Centre for Design will be transformed into a designer in residence studio in a collaborative program called WORKSHOPPED STUDIO. ‘The idea is to provide an up-close and personal opportunity for people to see the work of leading Australian designers, watching the design process in action,’ explained WORKSHOPPED director Raymond Scott. The free residency lasts from eight to 12 weeks, with the provision of running at least two workshops in that time.
