Aurora, Australia’s top not-for-profit community channel, has announced the winners of its Short Film Festival.

The winning films are Rosie O’Rosey’s Big Speech by Sheraden Robin; Bored, Game? by Libby Butler; Hopeless by Matt Osborne; and Sending the Gungu Home by WWF-Australia, who all received cash prizes for their respective categories.

Aurora is a digital community where all Australians can share interesting ideas while raising awareness of local and national issues. By encouraging emerging and independent producers Aurora provides an opportunity for filmmakers to develop their ideas, kick-start their careers, and have their work seen at a national level.
