Victorian-born Ricky Swallow as been an inveterate traveller for some years now, living for periods in London and Los Angeles before buying a 1920s cabin in Laurel Canyon, the former home of actor James Anderson, known for his role as the redneck farmer in To Kill a Mockingbird.
