$225.5M for creative sector in Victorian budget

The budget includes a $6.4 million package supporting programs and events benefiting independent artists and small organisations, and $128 million over four years for Geelong Performing Arts Centre.

Released yesterday (Monday 28 May), the 2019-20 Victorian Budget includes $225.5 million in new initiatives for the creative sector, including a $6.4 million package supporting programs and events benefiting independent artists and small organisations, including the Music Works grants programs, the Creators Fund, MPavilion, Dance Massive and AsiaTOPA 2020.
