$11.1 million thanks to WOMADelaide

WOMADelaide’s four day program generates millions for the local economy.

Despite tough economic conditions the 2012 WOMADelaide Arts Festival contributed a whopping $11.1 million to the economy.

According to a recent economic impact survey by Economic Research Consultants, the festival produced the equivalent of 137 full time jobs, attracted nearly half of its 87,500 attendees from interstate and also generated an estimated $9.3 million of spending in South Australia alongside the festival.
