It was mid-2023, and Kimberley Moulton (Yorta Yorta) and Kate ten Buuren (Taungurung) had been tasked with the rather epic project of bringing to life a First Peoples-led free outdoor exhibition, planned as the centrepiece of the 2024 RISING festival – part of a partnership between RISING and Federation Square.
