Opera Queensland will dedicate its October season of Lucia di Lammermoor to the memory of John Dingle, the Company’s Chorus Master, who passed away on Tuesday, 25 July.

John was born in Barcaldine, Queensland on 21 December, 1965. He was the second youngest of six children. His father worked as a construction welder, requiring the family to move between Barcaldine and Rockhampton for several years, before eventually settling in Rockhampton, where John commenced his education.
