Anh Do was announced as the 2017 Archibald Prize ANZ People’s Choice Award winner for portrait of Indigenous actor, Jack Charles. Charles is an Indigenous elder, actor, and activist. Charles was born in 1943 at the Cummeragunja Mission on the Murray River and was taken from his mother when he was less than twelve months old.
