John Frost named JC Williamson Award Winner

In the past three decades Frost, 61, has risen to fame for his productions including 'Wicked' and 'The Sound of Music'.

The Award, presented by Live Performance Australia, recognises Frost’s success in making an outstanding contribution to Australia’s live entertainment industry.

Frost, originally from Sydney, said he was ‘truly grateful’ to be named the award’s recipient.

‘Receiving the JC Williamson Award is the highest tribute that can be bestowed on someone working in the performing arts industry, and to be acknowledged by my peers for a job I love is gratifying and inspiring,’ Frost said.
