How to set up an artist run space

Artists can excel when working collaboratively, with many taking the leap to create an interdisciplinary space of their own. But what makes an Artist Run Initiative a success?

Many artists with an entrepreneurial flair are setting up studio spaces, or artist-run-initiatives (ARIs), across the country. Warehouses and unoccupied spaces are transforming into buzzing hubs for artists, where like-minded individuals can foster their creativity, create a supportive, cross-disciplinary network and engage in stimulating conversation.
