Art to trigger your senses

Sydney boasts over 100 commercial and public art galleries as well as artist run initiatives, but art spaces can often be too intimidating for inexperienced visitors. They are often populated by a tight-lipped savvy crowd scaring away the casual art lover and even beginner artists. Now in its fourth year, Art Month Sydney hopes to continue to demystify the world of contemporary art by engaging a community of newcomers and existing art lovers with a dynamic calendar of events ranging from talks and performances to art bars and late night gallery openings to art buying tours.
