Funding shortfall sparks Hobart Baroque cancellation

Lord Mayor steps in to try and save boutique festival after lack of state funding leads organisers to pull the plug.

With the Tasmanian State Government turning down a request for increased festival funding, as well as refusing to commit to funding Hobart Baroque beyond 2015, organisers have pulled the plug on the event.
