Art’s weapon against future water wars

As the world is destabilised by a water crisis, art can play a role in stopping us taking for granted something we can't live without.

In 2012, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) made a chilling announcement. ‘During the next 10 years, many regions will experience water challenges – shortages, poor water quality, or floods – that will increase the risk of instability and state failure [and] increase regional tensions,’ the report stated.
