Since 2009, Melbourne’s Auspicious Arts Incubator has run a series of one-day training programs specifically targeting the independent sector, covering such areas as social media training, touring, sponsorship, and insurance and incorporation. While popular, the presentation of such courses outside Melbourne has been limited, though Incubator CEO John Paul Fischbach has occasionally travelled to Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia and regional Victoria to present training modules at the request of specific organisations.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
