The NSW Creative Industries Taskforce has released its draft 10-year Industry Action Plan, calling for feedback from the community at large before its final report to the government later this year. The National Association for the Visual Arts Ltd (NAVA) has already weighed into the discussion, calling for the reinstatement of funding to TAFE arts courses and pointing out that TAFE graduates are vital to regional development and tourism.

Creative Industries Taskforce chair, and ARIA CEO, Dan Rosen said the Industry Action Plan’s 46 recommendations spring from ‘the key priorities we believe need to be addressed over the next few years to ensure sustainable growth in this important sector.’
