Jodie Hemmings has worked in uninspiring jobs for 15-years in order to provide to her child. She became a mother at a young age and ever since has been the sole carer. Bearing full responsibility for the upbringing of her child, she never thought that she would have the opportunity to study and improve her prospects. ‘I always wanted to do more with my life,’ she said. ‘But as a single mother my priority was providing for my son.’
