Acing an online interview

Interviews are hard enough without a camera staring you in the face. Here are some tips for being interviewed via webcam.

Unless you have an impressive, unwavering confidence, you probably agree with most job seekers out there: interviews are tough. Preparing your impassioned ‘why-I’m-the perfect-candidate’ monologue may help, but when it comes down to it being interviewed is an intimidating and nerve-racking affair.

In this highly mobile and online world, scoring an interview does not necessarily mean you find yourself across the desk from the person you need to impress. If you are considering moving for a job or if your prospective employer is traveling or working from home you may find yourself being interviewed by webcam.
