Move over MONA, Art Tower to oversee Hobart

An interactive art tower powered by the climbing effort of visitors will ensure MONA is not the only reason tourists head to Hobart.

During the opening weekend of Hobart’s Dark Mofo Festival, a public forum was called. It was the ‘concept launch’ for a major public art work that will dominate the city’s skyline, and further define the city as a global cultural tourism destination, complementing the work already done by the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).
