The Australian Council’s new grant program is open for applications. CEO Tony Grybowski has claimed it as the most significant change in the Council’s 40 year history.
The revamped application process has made applying for grants considerably less excruciating, offering new systems for both individuals and organisations. It acknowledges the changes that have taken place in the sector including the growth of new cross-grenre art forms, the need for longer-term planning to help organisational sustainability and the fluid careers that make categories like ’emerging’ and ‘established’ unhelpful.
