When Kellie Dickerson first attended University of Sydney, she was studying science but quickly changed to music, graduating with a Bachelor of Music (Honours), before winning a placement in the Symphony Australia Young Conductor’s Programme.

Having toured extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand, Dickerson is currently conducting the world premiere of Dr. Zhivago, starring Anthony Warlow but is probably best known as the musical director of Wicked, for which she received a Green Room Award in 2008 for Best Musical Direction of a Musical, and has also conducted Amici Forever at the Sydney Opera House.
