Relief amid the frosty season is on its way for Melbornians, with The Light in Winter arts festival providing some respite amidst the gloom.

The free, three week celebration of local and international arts, now in its eighth year, will premiere several large scale, outdoor light installations and is directed by arts luminary Robyn Archer. The event brings together local and international artists for a nightly program running from 1 June to 22 June at Melbourne’s Federation Square.
