The economic contribution of the design sectors to the Victorian economy was highlighted at the launch this morning of MPavilion, a major new architecture and design initiative spearheaded by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation.
The temporary creative hub – designed by internationally acclaimed Australian architect Sean Godsell and to be opened 7 Oct – is a landmark private-public collaboration between the Milgrom Foundation, the Victorian Coalition Government, the City of Melbourne and a range of cultural and educational institutions including ACMI and the Wheeler Centre.
